Frequently asked questions for International GCSE

There are no entry requirements however it’s designed for 14 to 16 year old’s.

A student does not receive an International GCSE certificate.  It’s based on exams and each subject you pass gives you a certificate for that specific subject.  In order to continue studies at AS Level and get acceptance to university, certain subject choice combinations are required.  Please not that there is a two exam sitting rule.  If students don’t comply, they will not be eligible for exemption.

Exam sittings are only available twice a year for Pearson and hence it’s very structured and should be considered like a normal school where students can either register in January or in June.

A student applies for a full exemption letter from USAF. He/she can then apply to a South African university using the application letter together with their transcripts.

Students will receive a Lesson Plan which will outline the:

 a. Live classes (English, Math, Physics, Chemistry and Business)

 b. Pre-recorded videos ( All the above subjects)

 c. Diagnostics (All of the above subjects)

 d. A hotline to ask a question ( English, Math, Physics, Chemistry and Business)
